I built this door for a neighbor of mine who was building a house just north of Asheville. The house has a cottage feel with arts and crafts influences but also with a southwest flavor reflected in the extensive use of stucco. She wanted something with an arch that had a softer and more feminine nuance than a lot of the more massive arts and crafts style doors she'd seen. This is African Mahogany with a Watco oil finish.

The circular window was well received by the client and to further enhance the "soft" aspect I added some wing-like leaves tucked under the window.
